Terms of Use

TERMS OF USE
The Meeks Law Firm, PLLC
Effective September 8, 2026

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of themeekslawfirm.com (the “Site”), operated by The Meeks Law Firm, PLLC (the “Firm”). By using the Site, a visitor agrees to these terms. A visitor who does not agree should not use the Site.

No legal advice

The Site is provided for general informational purposes. Nothing on it is legal advice, and nothing on it should be relied upon as a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney about a specific situation. Law changes, and material on the Site may not reflect the most current legal developments.

No attorney-client relationship

Use of the Site, submission of a form, transmission of an email, or scheduling of a consultation does not create an attorney-client relationship with the Firm or with Brandon E. Meeks. That relationship is created only after the Firm completes a conflict-of-interest check and both the client and the Firm sign a written engagement agreement.

Confidentiality of submissions

Information sent to the Firm before an engagement agreement is signed is not protected as a confidential attorney-client communication. Visitors should not send sensitive or privileged information through the Site. Internet transmission is not secure.

Permitted use

The Site may be used for lawful purposes only. A visitor agrees not to attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems, interfere with its operation, use automated tools to scrape or harvest its content, transmit malicious code, or use the Site to send unsolicited commercial messages.

Intellectual property

The content of the Site, including text, page layouts, graphics, and the Firm's name and logo, is owned by the Firm or used under license and is protected by copyright and trademark law. Content may be viewed and printed for personal, non-commercial reference. It may not be reproduced, republished, or distributed for any other purpose without the Firm's written permission.

Links and third-party services

The Site links to third-party websites and services, including social media platforms and the Firm's payment processor. Those links are provided for convenience. The Firm does not control and is not responsible for the content, security, or practices of any third-party site, and a link does not imply endorsement.

The Site is hosted on the Wix platform and payments are processed by LawPay. Use of those services is also subject to their own terms.

Availability

The Firm does not warrant that the Site will be available without interruption or free of error, and may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time without notice.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Firm and Brandon E. Meeks are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of the use of, or inability to use, the Site or any content on it, including any action taken or not taken in reliance on that content.

Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of the Site or these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Leon County, Florida, and the visitor consents to the jurisdiction of those courts.

Severability and changes

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. These Terms may be revised at any time; the version posted on this page, with its effective date, is the version in force. Continued use of the Site after a revision constitutes acceptance of it.
