COOKIE POLICY
The Meeks Law Firm, PLLC
Effective September 8, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies are used on themeekslawfirm.com (the “Site”), what each one does, and how a visitor can control them. It supplements the Firm's Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file placed on a visitor's device by a website. Cookies allow a site to function, to remember choices, and in some cases to record how the site is used or to measure advertising. This policy also covers similar technologies such as pixels, tags, and local storage.
Consent
Only strictly necessary cookies are set when a visitor first arrives. Analytics and advertising cookies do not load until the visitor accepts them through the consent banner. Declining, or ignoring the banner, leaves those cookies unset.
Consent may be changed or withdrawn at any time through the “Cookie Settings” link in the Site footer. The Site also honors the Global Privacy Control signal as a request to decline non-essential cookies.
Cookies used on this Site
COOKIE SET BY PURPOSE DURATION
ssr-caching Wix Records how the page was served, so the site loads correctly Session
XSRF-TOKEN Wix Security — protects form submissions against cross-site request forgery Session
bSession Wix Measures site performance and stability 30 minutes
_ga Google Analytics 4 Distinguishes visitors to count and report site usage 2 years
_ga_<ID> Google Analytics 4 Maintains session state for the Firm's analytics property 2 years
_gcl_au Google Ads Records ad clicks so advertising performance can be measured 90 days
The first three are strictly necessary and are set without consent, as they are required for the Site to operate and remain secure. The last three are analytics and advertising cookies and are set only after consent.
The Site also loads error-monitoring code provided by the Wix platform, which reports technical faults so they can be diagnosed. It does not track browsing across other websites.
Third-party cookies
Analytics and advertising cookies are set by Google LLC and are governed by Google's own privacy terms. Visiting a page that embeds content from another service, such as a video or a map, may cause that service to set its own cookies.
Managing cookies in the browser
Most browsers allow cookies to be blocked or deleted through their settings menu. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the Site, including forms and scheduling, from working correctly.
Changes to this policy
This policy will be updated whenever the cookies used on the Site change. The current version, with its effective date, is always posted on this page.
